Your house style works nicely as it has a colour scheme of pink and white which has worked well with each other, you took a good quality photo which made it look more attractive. you manipulated the masthead on photoshop to make her look more important by removing a part of the 'C'. your cover lines link to the college but more of those would make the cover page look more like a magazine. your puff also works with the colour scheme which makes it look good. also, make sure to add the price or if its free overall, i like your cover page but more cover lines based on the actual college will make it better.
